While each apartment community might conduct their roommate matching program a little differently, the general process tends to be the same across the board and is usually quite simple. All that is typically required of you is to fill out a basic form and submit it to whoever handles the process. The form will ask you general questions regarding your personality and living preferences so that they can match you with someone that has compatible answers. You may be aware of the fact that on-paper compatibility does not always translate to in-person compatibility, but the great thing about apartment communities that do roommate matching is that they'll often try to accommodate you if any problems arise between you and your roommate(s).
