Digital Marketing Intern

Caleb Padgett

Caleb Padgett is a senior at the Terry College of Business, studying marketing with a digital emphasis. Caleb is a natural-born Georgian who started his upper education at Georgia College & State University. After two years, he decided he wanted a change and where better than the University of Georgia. He was drawn to UGA, not only because of the dominant football team, and unrivaled school spirit, but UGA also has one of the best business schools in the country. Caleb saw that earning a degree through the prestigious Terry College of Business at UGA would open many opportunities upon graduation.

After being accepted into UGA Caleb decided that Marketing would be a good fit for him and decided on the digital marketing emphasis, as it is a growing industry that becomes more in demand every day in the growing digital e-commerce world. Caleb's extracurricular activities include being a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA), working out and exploring all the restaurants and activities Athens has to offer. He is a big fan of Cali N Tito's on South Lumpkin Street and has recently tried Little Italy's giant meatball sub. His favorite restaurant remains Utage Sushi Bar on East Clayton Street with their famous sushi boat.

Originally from Cumming, Georgia, Caleb's parents were entrepreneurs and started a business that furnishes corporate apartments. Once he was old enough, he worked with their company and helped furnish apartments all around the Metro-Atlanta area. Through his time helping his parents' company he saw how the amenities of different apartment communities varied and the importance of knowing what you are getting before signing. When he moved to Athens, he made sure to get an apartment that was within walking distance to downtown and campus to make his life much easier and not having to worry about parking. Caleb was very excited to join the iLS Network team as a digital marketing intern, as it brought in his experience with apartments and his major into real-world application.
