Tucker Hall
Tucker Hall was originally one of six identical dormitories completed in 1961. 5 of the dormitories were located at the South Lumpkin and Baxter street intersection. Tucker Hall was the only one away from its sibling buildings on the east side of the University of Georgia's campus and was used by agricultural program students. Most buildings have retained their 1961 simplicity, however Tucker Hall has been updated for more academic and office uses. Tucker Hall got its name when the law school moved to its location it is now and William and Mary changed the name to honor former law professor and Revolutionary War Veteran St. George Tucker. Currently the Biomedical & Translational Sciences Institute uses the 4th floor of Tucker Hall for their administrative office.
