The Athens music scene has had a home here for over 35 years. The legendary club has helped launch and hosted some of Athens' best acts. The club can hold up to 500 people and has welcomed countless acts over the years. Go to 40watt.com to see the events they have coming up. They seem to have events almost every day of the week, either hosting an act, or throwing a famous artist themed experience, like Led Zeppelin or Bad Bunny.

Georgia Theatre

The Georgia Theatre was a devastating loss in 2009 when a fire destroyed the entire inside of the building. It was reopened in 2011 and the new venue is unbelievable. State of the art Sound systems were put in place, with two spacious balconies, a rooftop restaurant, and an art gallery. This venue draws in artists nationwide and has shows going on all the time.
